Every fragrance sold on TradePerfumes goes through a structured verification process. Authenticity isn't a slogan for us, it's a documented workflow backed by our Buyer Protection guarantee.

A quick look at what a seller and a listing go through before a bottle ever reaches you — and what protects you after.

Seller vetting
Before anyone can list, sellers complete an identity check and agree to our authenticity policy.
We review each seller's history on an ongoing basis, and can suspend or remove any account that lists a bottle we cannot verify.

Listing review
Every listing must include the fragrance name, size, batch code, and clear photos of the actual bottle. Listings missing any of this information aren't approved.

Bottle authentication
What happens next depends on the seller's tier and the item's value:
Higher-value & flagged items
Ship to our verification partner first. They're inspected against batch codes, packaging, spray pattern, and known reference samples before release to the buyer.
All other orders
Covered by post-sale spot checks and our Buyer Protection guarantee.

Buyer Protection
Your payment stays protected
Your payment is held under Buyer Protection until your order is delivered. If any item turns out not to be authentic — or is materially different from its description — you're refunded in full.
Our team makes the final decision on authenticity claims.
